Knowledge of die-casting pots and imitation die-casting pots
2024/09/07

The imitation die-casting pot has a process similar to that of a stretching pot, using aluminum sheets. However, the aluminum sheets of the imitation die-casting pot are thicker and pressed using a forging press, which increases the cost and threshold. Generally, small and medium-sized factories can manufacture it. The thickness of the pot body is significantly increased compared to the stretching pot, similar to the thickness of the die-casting pot. It is more common in the domestic mid-range market and the Americas.

Die casting pots have relatively complex processes, requiring the melting of aluminum ingots into aluminum water, which is then injected into a die casting machine. The pot body is formed through a mold, and there are no rivets on the pot body. Generally, both stretching pots and imitation die casting pots have rivets on the pot body, which is also an intuitive way of judgment. Commonly found in non stick cookware in Europe, the process cost is relatively high, the pot body is thick, the heating is uniform, and it will not deform. Generally, only large factories have the strength to manufacture, and they are mostly used for export.

Of course, the production process is only one aspect and cannot directly indicate the quality of the cookware. Non stick cookware also depends on the technical level of the coating and spray coating.
